Come Travel And Explore Australia

Australia covers over 7 million square kilometers. Some areas like Melbourne are bustling metro cities, while other areas are remote and accessible only through certain seasons and with a 4WD vehicle. No matter what you’re looking for, be it an exciting night on the town dancing till down, a road trip through the back country, or a backpacking adventure Australia has it all. Why not come travel and explore Australia?

Western Australia actually makes up 30% of the land mass but is only home to 10% of the countries population. There’s plenty of open spaces here and some of the areas are only accessible by 4WD. The Tropic of Capricorn divides Western Australia into the tropical North and the Mediterranean south. North of the tropics offers both a wet and dry season to explore.

From May to October is the dry season which allows for more accessibility and a lot more activities. Enjoy diving of the Ningaloo Reef or watch the giant whale sharks at play. From November to April is the wet season and turning the area into a lush tropical region that’s full of life and full of some powerful storms. Even the 4WD roads are closed this time of year.

But as you move south of the tropics you’ll find summer has arrived. The area south west of Perth is a tourist’s delight with warm white beaches that extend for miles. And don’t forget to explore the wineries some of the best in the world. Perth is a bustling city full of day and night activities. Take time to enjoy the sights of the area and of course the city’s ambiance.

If you head north from Perth you’ll quickly reach several of the national parks in the area. Here you can take long walks in the forest or enjoy the beach. Don’t forget to watch for the dolphins at Monkey Mia.

There are some picture perfect beaches to explore along the Esperance coastline. Mother nature has done some amazing sculpting along this coast line and you should certainly set some time aside to explore this region. Along with the fascinating shore lines you’ll be able to enjoy the sounds of the aqua water lapping against the sandy beach. It’s a must see for any tourist providing hours of exploring!

Don’t forget to add Tasmania to your list of sites to see. It can be found on the southeast corner of Australia’s mainland and is the smallest state in Australia. Its pristine natural surroundings combined with local wildlife make it one of the most spectacular scenes you’ll see. It’s recognized around the world for its clean air and water and the abundance of wildlife.

Daintree National Park is where the rainforest meets the reef. It’s the oldest lowland tropical forest in the world and it’s gifted with an abundance of clear running creeks and awesome scenery.

The Outback starts north of Queensland and it is one of the most wild and remote areas in the entire state. Here you’ll find Aboriginal rock art, rugged landscape, dry creek beds, and cattle stations the size of a small county.

If you get a chance take a drive from Melbourne to Port Campbell on the Ocean Road. There’s a host of wonderful markets where you can get some great buys and you’ll also find Bell’s Beach famous around the world. This is truly one of the most scenic drives in all of Australia and it’s got plenty of breathtaking scenery. In fact why not take in a sunset at Twelve Apostles. It’s not one you are soon to forget!

If you want some of the most breathtaking views on the planet be sure to spend a day hiking to the bottom of Mackenzie Falls. Want to see the rare White Western Grey Kangaroos then travel to Bordertown.

Whether you travel on foot backpacking across the country, by 4WD vehicle, by bus, or by plane you’ll want to explore some of the wilderness found in the more remote areas. Here you’ll find some of the most beautiful canyons and waterfalls combined with dry plateaus and a host of wildlife.

The rich cultural history, combined with wide variety of climates from semi-tropical habitats to monsoons give Australia and uniqueness that’s hard to find anywhere else. The longer you can stay the more you’ll get to explore. But whether your vacation is a week or a month come travel and explore Australia.
