Backcountry Hiking Gear

In doing Backcountry Hiking especially in some known backcountry hiking places, for example the Great Basin national Park that offers extensive areas for backpacking trips and a number of established routes, much of the park is tailless. In the next few years many of the narrow, overgrown trails will be improved, but most of the park will remain wild country without trails especially the alpine areas. So the backpackers who are interested are advised to be prepared to hike cross-country, hard to follow routes; or to follow drainages, ridges and other natural features.
