Summit Ski Area had it’s beginnings way back in 1927 making it the oldest ski area in the Pacific Northwest. They offer just about every imaginable winter sport including skiing, snow shoeing, cross country skiing, and snowboarding. If you don’t have your own equipment not to worry there’s rentals for all and there is even a ski school if you’re just starting out. This is a safe family orientated ski area. It’s a vacation you’ll all enjoy!
Warner Canyon Ski Area offers some fine downhill skiing as well as cross country skiing and a snow play area for the kids. There’s a triple chair lift and day use of the lodge, as well as restrooms and a snack bar. The amenities might be basic but it’s some of the cheapest and best skiing around. Here anyone can afford to bring the family for a day of skiing.
Willamette Pass is the perfect place whether you’re looking for a gentle family adventure or an exhilarating adrenalin rush on your own. Here you’ll find steep runs, deep runs, bumpy runs, gentle runs, and everything in between. If downhill skiing isn’t your thing then why not try boarding, cross country skiing, snow tubing, or snowshoeing? This is a winter wonderland all terrain park.
