Celebrate With Plastic Martini Glasses

By: Joanne Dorin

It's party time and you and the gang are going to have a great time. Great food and drinks need to be served so why not celebrate with plastic martini glasses and other plastic barware.

When you hear plastic you might think "no thanks that's not classy!" But you couldn't be more wrong. First of all those days of cheesy clear plastic glasses are long gone. Today's plastic options are classy and plentiful.

Let's start with the martini glasses. Have you checked out what's available? Fabulous funky swirling stems, polka dot bodies, colored plastics, and more. You are going to have a hard time making a choice.

But don't stop at the martini glasses, have a look at the beer and shot glasses, and tumblers that are available. Pick boring old clear plastic or let your imagination go crazy and pick a theme or pattern.

Almost all plastic glassware is available in a themed pattern like Hawaiian palm trees, or Indy 500 cars. Or perhaps a funky pattern like vibrant polka dots or snazzy stripes. That doesn't strike your fancy then how about some wonderful colors - lime green, funky pink, cobalt blue, or sunshine yellow.

Have you thought about using all plastic dinnerware? You can buy great plastic bowls, plates, serving pieces, and even flatware that looks like the real thing.

You can serve up the entire party with plastic and have plenty of fun doing it. And when people talk about your party they will be commenting about how great the serving pieces were from the flatware to the glassware. What a great combination for that great food.

When planning your party decide how many guests you will be having. Then you'll know how many packages you will need to buy. It never hurts to have a few extra packages. Occasionally you can get a bad glass or perhaps a guest misplaces theirs so spares are always a smart idea.

Some plastics are actually heavy enough to be reused and to be washed in the dishwasher. You can decide if you want to keep them or go with the disposable aspect. Because they are a heavier plastic they are less likely to crack and they also are sturdier so for the few sense more they cost you get a lot of benefit. These heavy duty types are also available online.

There are hundreds of excellent sites that sell party items which include plastic serving dishes, glasses, balloon, hats, tablecloths, silverware, and all kinds of party items. After all if you are going to throw a party then you certainly want it to get noticed and make a statement.

Don't you want your guests talking about it for days or even weeks? Aren't you anxious about what they will be saying? After all the work you've put into it you don't want any disappointments.

So take those plastic martini glasses and other barware and combine it with some great food and friends and you are going to have the night of a lifetime. Are you ready for the celebration?
