It would appear that there is still a high number of organisations that are unaware of the new legislation which came into force through the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety Order) 2005. The purpose of these clear regulations was to consolidate the existing law and provide all of the people, that are responsible for most types of premises, with applicable guidelines to ensure the safety of their staff and all other people that may occupy their premises.
